Labs

All the departments of the Faculty contain computer labs for practical scientific training for students in computer curriculum (Matlab, Microsoft Office, Windows).

Computer Department has four labs (database, software, network and communication, drawing by computer), each laboratory contains about 25 computer from Lenovo type for practical scientific training for students in (Matlab, Visual, Amulator, Logic, PHP, HTML).

Biology Department consists of seven laboratories (microbiology laboratory, tissue laboratory, plant laboratory, postgraduate laboratory contains (animal home lab, herb laboratory, advanced insect laboratory, animal laboratory), insects laboratory, algae laboratory, comparative anatomy laboratory). The laboratories contain about 30 microscopes, air purifiers, 2 distillers, spectroscopy, microtome, water bath, 24 insect boxes, 2 fish ponds, skeleton, sugar meter, etc.

The Department of Chemistry has six specialized laboratories

1- Analytical Chemistry Laboratory

This laboratory includes many devices used by students to detect the identity of the matters or determine the chemical composition of the matter such as sensitive balance and the device of UV-visible Spectrometer and infrared radiation, electric furnace and burn furnace and distillation device in addition to the important and necessary glass.

2- Biochemistry Laboratory

This laboratory covers the study of the biological particle involved in the structure of the human body and the living organisms. It includes the laboratory device necessary for the tests of the chemical serum, such as the sugar test and the fat test of all kinds like a light absorption device, as well as blood pressure and sensitive balance, as well as the necessary glass.

3- Inorganic chemistry laboratory

This laboratory provides experiments for students in the second and third year. The laboratory contains devices such as spectrometer, acid function meter, heater and glass for experiments such as preparation and purification of compounds for elements, preparation of complexes for some transition elements and study of complexity.

4- Laboratory of organic chemistry

In this laboratory, students are taught how to prepare some organic compounds as well as the processes of extraction and distillation of organic solvents, measurement of the melting point and the boiling point of organic compounds.

5- Physical chemistry laboratory

This laboratory includes the necessary device and glass for the experiments of the students of the undergraduate students and experiments are conducted to determine the physical properties of chemicals such as viscosity and surface tension and the calculation of the constant equilibrium and order of interaction.

6 – Laboratory of industrial chemistry and organic characterization

In this laboratory students are taught some experiments in industrial chemistry such as polymer preparation experiments and some simple industries. In addition, experiments are carried out to characterize organic compounds through the properties of organic compounds such as color, odor, boiling point, combustion and melting.
