Prof. Dr. Abd al-Razzaq al-Janabi and Prof. Dr. Hassan Taqi Taha from the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences participated in an international conference on new findings in the humanities organized by the University of Tehran, with a joint research paper entitled (a proposed vision to raise awareness of university students about the principles of tolerance and peaceful coexistence).
The aim of the research is to inform university students and their professors about the most important concepts and basic special issues and to present a vision and a proposed vision to activate the role of universities in increasing the level of awareness of university students about the concepts of tolerance and peaceful coexistence from the perspective of educational and Islamic thought, and emphasizing that these concepts are important to be applied on the ground.
The study derives its importance from the fact that the issues of tolerance and peaceful coexistence with the other constitute an issue that occupies the world and many countries and local and international organizations. This importance has increased in our time due to the increase in division and differences even among the people of the same country. Important and vital is tolerance and peaceful coexistence, in addition to the importance of the target group, who are university students and among the important segments of society, if they have hopes for progress and advancement of society and catching up with developed countries and civilization. I adhered to Islam and its adoptions.
