A research team publishes scientific research in an international journal

A research team from the Department of Life Sciences in our college, including both Dr. Furqan Yahya Jawad and MD. Zainab Abdel Amir Mohamed and Prof. Dr. Nada Muhammad Reda Jaafar published a joint scientific research in the Turkish NeuroQuantology magazine, which is classified within Scopas International’s containers, entitled (A study on the effect of nickel on some growth parameters of a plant of Abbasid during the winter).

The study aimed to identify the effect of the element nickel Ni on some growth parameters of the Abbasid plant or the so-called four o’clock in the evening plant on the phenotypic and physiological aspect.

And he concluded that the concentration of nickel at 10ppm is the optimal concentration to stimulate some growth parameters of the plant under study, while the control is 0ppm and the high concentration of 50ppm caused damage to the physiological side, explaining this to the fact that high concentrations make the element toxic after its accumulation in the tissues of the plant, either control samples may return The deterioration in it is due to the effect of winter weather on the plant’s optimal performance of its metabolic activities.
