Drese is publishing scientific paper on the optical and structural properties of ZrO2 and spray-denatured B: ZrO2 films

Assistant Professor Shawqi Khalaf Muhammad Al-Tadrisi in the Department of Physics, College of Education for Girls, has published a scientific paper in IOP Jornal of Physic, a British journal that is part of Scopas.
During the research, the optical, structure, and morphological properties of ZrO2 and B: ZrO2 thin films were studied on glass bases using the CSP technique. The results show that there is a large energy gap in the range from 3.73 to 3.83 EV. XRD of ZrO2 and thin film streaked shows multicrystalline structures with combination of monoclinic and quadrangular phases, and the mean dislocation density values ​​are found to decrease with addition of impurity B. The small value of the dislocation density confirms that The membranes are of good quality poly-crystalline ZrO2 membranes, and the topography of the prepared films was observed with increased denaturation.
